This kit has the correct pieces for the 1985 - 94 models which came with a 96 link chain. This item is from Preferred Components Inc.. It is a quality kit that has the upgrade straight steel chain guide which will protect your timing cover from the chain right at the cooling system passage to the water pump. All chains will stretch with alot of miles but there is no reason to damage the timing cover when that happens. Don't forget the gaskets !
