The '81 -'82 models of this engine are easily identified by the round exhaust port on the cylinder head and the "raised ring" surface on the top of the pistons. This engine uses a 98 link, double-row timing chain. Many engine swaps have occurred over the years and it will help save time and frustration to double-check the identity of your engine before ordering parts if you don't know the vehicle's history.
